What it does
Altium Copilot provides an AI assistant with real-time read access to open Altium Designer projects on Windows. It allows hardware engineers to query component values, trace nets across sheets, and perform structured schematic reviews without manually pasting netlists.
Tools
schematic_review: Triggers a 3-phase structured audit of the power supply or general circuitry.brainstorm_circuits: A 5-phase design session for proposing new topologies and improvements.net_trace: Traces a specific net across all schematic sheets.component_query: Pulls detailed data for a specific component, including pins and connected nets.
Installation
Run the following PowerShell command to install for Claude Desktop and Claude Code:
