Marp Slide Generator

What it does

Marp Slide Generator is an MCP App that brings AI-powered presentation creation directly into Claude Desktop and Claude.ai. Describe what you want and Claude generates Markdown-based Marp slides, renders them in an interactive in-chat preview, and lets you export the result in multiple formats — all without leaving the conversation.

This is an experimental port of the popular パワポ作るマン (Pawapo-Tsukuruman) project as an MCP App, built by iwamot.

Key features

• Natural language slide generation — describe your presentation topic; the AI writes the Marp Markdown
• Interactive in-chat preview — rendered slide deck appears as a UI resource inside the Claude chat window
• 3 built-in themes — speee, border, and gradient for visual variety
• 4 export formats — PDF, PPTX (standard), editable PPTX, and Markdown source
• Overflow validation — validate_slide tool catches content that exceeds slide bounds before export

Installation

Claude Desktop / Claude.ai: Add the remote server as a custom connector — no auth required:

Go to Claude Desktop App → Customise → New Custom Connector and paste the URL.

For the companion skill (enhances slide generation quality), download:

Then add it via Claude → Customise → New Skill → Upload ZIP.
