Street Design

What it does

Provides a practical street design skill that generates cross-sections, lane and ROW allocations, intersection geometry, pedestrian/cycling treatments, streetscape elements, and traffic calming tailored to context (arterial, collector, local, shared). Produces dimensional guidance, worked examples, and reference tables drawn from NACTO, AASHTO, and global design guides.

When to use it

Use this skill when you need a street classification, a recommended cross-section for a given ROW and context, intersection curb radii and pedestrian treatments, cycling infrastructure specs, or traffic-calming strategies. Good for urban planners, transport engineers, and product teams drafting examples or documentation.
