What it does

Provides practical, production-oriented patterns for deploying containerized web services and event-driven functions to Google Cloud Run. Includes example Dockerfiles, Node.js function snippets, Cloud Build and gcloud deploy commands, and operational guidance (health checks, graceful shutdown, min-instances, CPU boost).

When to use it

Use this skill when building stateless containerized APIs or background functions on GCP, when you need guidance on Cloud Run vs Cloud Functions, or when you want to reduce cold-start latency for user-facing services. Good for teams deploying Node.js workloads, Pub/Sub handlers, or storage-triggered functions.
