Spend Optimizer

What it does

Performs a subscription audit and credit-card rewards optimization by ingesting bank and card CSVs. The skill finds recurring charges, categorizes subscriptions (keep/cancel/investigate/dispute), calculates potential savings from cancellations, and recommends card routing to maximize reward multipliers and statement credits. It can produce interactive HTML reports for user review.

When to use it

Use when a user asks for a spending analysis: 'audit subscriptions', 'optimize my cards', or 'analyze my spending'. Run this skill when you have CSV exports from all relevant cards to ensure accurate mapping and full optimization.

What's included

• Scripts: none bundled (has_scripts=false) but the repo lists HTML templates and reference docs in assets/references as part of the workflow.
• References: credit-cards.md and common-services.md are referenced for reward logic and cancel URLs.
• Instructions: end-to-end workflow: ingest CSVs → detect recurring charges → recommend card moves and cancellations → generate interactive HTML report → support export/dispute features and cancellation guidance.

Compatible agents
