ElevenLabs Audio Player

What it does

ElevenLabs Audio Player is an MCP Bundle for Claude Desktop that brings full AI audio generation and playback directly into your conversation. Ask Claude to generate speech, compose music, or create sound effects using ElevenLabs' API — then an interactive audio player renders inline so you can listen without leaving the chat.

Key features

• Text-to-Speech — Convert any text to natural-sounding speech using ElevenLabs voices (default: Juniper, model: eleven_v3)
• Sound Effects — Describe a sound in plain English and get a generated audio clip (e.g. "thunder and rain", "spaceship taking off")
• Music Generation — Compose music from a prompt specifying genre, mood, and instruments; optional instrumental-only mode
• Local Playback UI — Built-in React audio player with progress bar, speed control, and playlist queue
• Playlist Support — Queue multiple tracks and navigate them in sequence
• Local File Playback — Play any MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, or AAC file directly from your filesystem

Installation

Claude Desktop

Clone and build the MCPB bundle, then open it with Claude Desktop:

cd elevenlabs-mcp-player
npm install
npm run pack
open elevenlabs-player.mcpb

Double-click the .mcpb file (or use open on macOS). Claude Desktop will install it automatically.

Then add your API key in Claude Desktop settings → ElevenLabs Player → ELEVENLABS_API_KEY.

Supported hosts

Claude Desktop (macOS and Windows). No other clients confirmed in the README.
